He Stilled The Storm To A Whisper

I don't understand the mindset of storm chasers. As soon as I hear thunder or see lightning, I'm buried under a bunch of blankets on the couch pretending that it's still nice and sunny outside.

Storms terrify me because they are so powerful and can be so destructive. But God is much more powerful than any storm. Scripture is full of evidence of how God commanded light, water, wind, and so much more.

He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. - Psalm 107:29

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. - Genesis 1:3

Just picture a storm on the ocean going from a violent mess to a whisper in seconds. Or the instantaneous CREATION of light! Our God is AWESOME! And this incomparably powerful God wants a relationship with YOU!
