After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. - Acts 4:31 These three words describe many of the very first Christians. The disciples. Paul. The ones who had experienced Jesus first or even second hand. They were surrounded by religious leaders who thought that the gospel was blasphemous and were throwing these new Christians into prison. These people were BOLD, BRAVE, and COURAGEOUS. Do those words describe you as a Christian? Do you boldly share your faith even when you're surrounded by those who oppose you? Are you brave and courageous, stepping out in faith to where God is calling you? This isn't like name tag Sunday at your church. Christianity isn't a sticker that you can put on or take off depending on where you are or who you're with. Your faith should be shining through in every situation. God's love should be pouring out of you with every interaction.
Are you bold like the early Christians? Are you brave like those who are thrown in prison for sharing the truth of the gospel? Are you courageously sharing the love of God, not worrying about the opinions of those around you? Strive every day to be more bold, more brave, and more courageous as you continue to trust in God and grow in your relationship with Him!
