Barnes & Noble Adventure

The other day my husband and I made a trip to Barnes and Noble because he wanted to check out their selection of graphic novels. YES! He was the one who suggested the trip! Though we have known each other a very long time, he had never been to a book store with me until now...

When we went in, he went straight back to the graphic novels and I wandered off through pretty much every other part of the store. I went through the discount section and grabbed as much as I could carry (only the ones I thought sounded interesting, of course). Actually, it was more than I could carry. I dropped a couple on the floor before an employee came up to me with a basket.

Knowing that what I was carrying was a little excessive, I did put a few back before meeting up with George in the middle of the store. As I approached, I flashed a huge smile hoping that he would ignore everything in my basket. His eyes widened. He tried reminding me that he had gotten me 12 books for Christmas. I pointed out that I was already over halfway through that collection...

He left the store empty-handed. I, on the other hand, spent pretty much all of my Christmas money on additions to my personal library. AND I COULDN'T BE MORE EXCITED!

At the end of 2016 I plan to share the list of all the books I've read this year, so I'm open to suggestions!
