I've always been a fan of plans and lists, though never great at following through with my to-dos. BUT it's a new year and I'm starting with a blank slate. Or I guess you could say a blank planner. At the end of 2015 I bought myself a present: an Erin Condren Life Planner. A friend gifted me one of the wedding planners last year after I got engaged and I fell in love! They're absolutely gorgeous, but a little pricy. However, since one of my goals for this year is to get more organized, I decided to invest. First of all, the planners come in really pretty boxes. If you have ever had the pleasure of living with me, you would know that I have a slight obsession with boxes. I hoard them throughout the year so that I have plenty of boxes for wrapping Christmas presents. My hubby is trying to break me of this habit... When I first opened the beautiful box, I saw a post card and various stickers that they'd thrown in with my planner! I personalized my planner with my name and the year. I went with the vertical layout, though at this time they offer three different options. One of the cool things about their planners is that you can interchange the covers. I didn't purchase any extra covers this time, but it's always an option! I did buy some personalized stickers and dot stickers from the website. Each planner has a couple of pages of these kind of stickers included, but I wanted to get some in different colors and with "youth group" written on them so that I could just stick those in every week! In the back of the planner was a sealed pouch with some free goodies that I'm so excited to use! One of the really cool things about this website is the Give 10, Get 10! If you have any interest in getting one of these planners for yourself, you can save $10 on your first order! I also went a little sticker crazy by visiting a few etsy shops... I really want this new organized version of me to stick! Puns are one of my favorite things... I'll try to remember to give some peeks into my planner throughout the year. Have you used an EC planner before? Any tips for me? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
